Helicopters

I have lived in Muswell Hill for a few years and recently I have been disturbed many a time by the noise from Police helicopters in the sky.
It is an absolute nuisance! I understand that they are doing it for a reason, but it is so loud and often that it can be disturbing!
Does anybody know why there is a sudden interest in our area?

I totally agree, they are so loud!
BUT we would probably be moaning if there wasn't enough Police presence in our area!
Not sure what the sudden increase in them is due to though,
Anybody know?

The alternative is that they chase the silly drunk-drivers on ground who may hit and kill an innocent passer-by. Anyway the Met Police has only 2 helicopters for 7 million people... this is not too much.
Sudden increase means sudden increase in certain crime in certain areas. -
There must be a hell of an increase in crime then in Muswell Hill because I seem to be hearing helicopters a lot of the time .. where did you hear that? only 2 helicopters for 7 million people?? that sounds wrong, surely they have more than that, furthermore how much does it cost to run a helicopter! looking for drunken drivers?! I don't think so .. more likely looking for drugs.
