Muswell Hill has lost a place in it's heart.... Good old Woolworth's has closed..... Hope the staff are able to move on and have a good 2009...
But maybe we can see something in it's place..... Hope so.?

I know! it's a real shame. Although, when you think about it - how often did you buy anything in there? It's a shop that really needed a face-lift. I will miss it though, it was such a familiar face on the high street, part of our heritage! (although I think the firm was actually American - not sure about that). The only thing I ever seemed to buy in there were lightbulbs occassionally and maybe some pick n mix! I have no idea what will replace it - as long as it's not a Tesco or McDonalds - I don't really mind.
